I have a 2004 Pacifica. It has had the recalls done. My wife works until Midnight and last night she drove home with out heat! It's -2 here. Needless to say, she was not happy.  I checked it this morning, let it warm up, chceked the antifreeze level - it was full, no blower. The control panel seems to function fine but none of the blowers run. Dead. It seems like a fuse, I looked in the fuse box and I see that there is a blower relay there. I suppose that could be it but it was so dang cold I had to come in. And... I dont have another relay to swap it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I've never had that problem with my 04 Pacifica. I am curious as to what climate you live in. How cold is it when the heat does not work and what altitude?

I had a similar problem with my  '01 dodge dakota... blower motor resistor which controls fan speeds(located on pass.side below dash-on dakota)...replaced twice...perhaps our '04 pacs also have the same resistor. I'm  not sure of its location but maybe Chrysler Tech can help.

in an automatic temp control system its called a blower motor motor resistor module. ITs an easy repair its below the passanger side dash with wires connecting to the blower motor. About ooo 100 bucks in parts and away u go.

Is that something I can get from a parts store? Or chrysler only?

Tonight my wife drove to work and the blower started to run again. The air was not real hot - luke warm - cold if the fan is on high and it will only blow out the vents, not floor or defrost. Any thoughts? I know they are going to wack me at the dealer.

The first problem was the blower did not run when she drove home Saturday night. Sunday she drove back to work and the blower ran and seemed to function ok. The air temp was luke warm and when you put the fan on high, the air temp was cold. Seems like it might be a thermostat.

I am not sure about this but I am wondering if the blower does not run until the water temp at the heater core is right. If I remember correctly, it seems that the blower does not run until the car is warm. Do you know anything about that?

if u have the settings at AUTO  then yes  it will only run untill the the temp is high enough to which u set the tempature at aka  80+. Use the setting manual  if u want them to come out right away and blow out cold air untill the car warms up. Read your maunal for the AUTO temp control.
If u have the inside temp set at 80 or 78  then thats the temp will have inside  it will not be 78 comming out of the vents.
