2.7L engine swap!!! Help Please!!!!

i jus bought a 2001 sebring sedan lxi with a blown engine. i was gonna get a new 2.7 but after some research and advise the 2.7 is the biggest piece of junk ever.  has anyone put a 3.2/3.5 swap in? what all has to be changed? Please help me!!!!!

Hi going through the same thing. I did some research as you can see in this forom under my ID and everyone says not to use a differant motor use another 2.7. I just found a 2.7 out of a 2004 sedan with 16000 miles on it. Not sure where you are from but here is a #800-649-9337 they have an 2004 2.7 36000 miles.I would have bought this if I didn't already find one. This motor I am telling you about is in Freetown Ma.   Or go to www.car-parts.com and search your area. Russ

i wouldnt do that if i where you i got a 2004 engine in my 2001 and it wont work because of the computersare different. check my fourms. good luck
