Hello,
I have a 2001 T&C LXI and the back up lights do not work. I have checked the fuses under the hood & replaced both bulbs and all appear to be good. Also tried checking to see if voltage is coming to the switch on the tranny but not sure which one is the back up switch since there are two possibilties. My first question is there another fuse for this other than in the fuse panel under the hood? The next question is which switch on the tranny is for the back up lights? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks In Advance,

Go to parts store and ask for new back up light switch.

use this old trick, go to the parts store , make model year ,buy a back up light switch, once you take it out of the box you will be able to see where it goes follow directions if it solves the problem keepit if not return it .

There is no bu lamp switch if you have the 4 speed transmission, the body control module turns them on. That gets the signal from the transmission module.

brandoncrone,
Is there a way I can test to see why mine do not work? Is there a fuse that is not in the fuse panel under the hood? Really would like to fiugre this out.
Thanks In Advance,

I don't think that there is a fuse either. Its at the point by the sounds of it that you would have to take it to the dealer for them to hook up the scan tool to find out if the body control module is getting the signal to turn on the backup lamps from the transmission module.

Well turns out it was the BCM after all and is now operational again. Thanks for the advice!
