I am on the brink of buying a 2007 Pacifica.  One question/concern I have is the towing hitch.  I worry it will be quite low to the ground and drag/bottom out.  Any feedback on this?  Any pictures of installed hitches?

I am also looking at towing a trailer that is a box unitility trailer, about 4 feet wide, 5 feet tall enclosed trailer - is that okay on the Pacifica with the wind resistance?

Thanks in advance,
Scott

I have not towed anything yet but I do have the dealer installed hitch from Chrysler. The bottom of the hitch is a little higher than the 2 tailpipes. It is a very nice installation but is not cheap, they had quoted me an installed price of around $800.00 but included it to make the sale of the car. I expected them to buy a cheap hitch from an auto supply store but they used the regular Chrysler Hitch and did a great job. I use the hitch with a platform to haul my electric handicap scooter but the weather had been very bad since I bought the car so I have not been able to use it. I MAY be able to take a pic of it if it warms up a little today, it is 8 below zero at the moment with snow on the ground.

I tried to post a pic of the hitch on mine, it accepted the .jpg but I sure don't see it anywhere, if you send me your email address I will send it to you.
