I took my 04 Crossfire in for a stalling problem.  The dealer reported that it was the crankshaft sensor feeding bad info to the computer and the sensor needed to be replaced.  It was a $290 part with 2.5 hours labor.  Roughly $600 total.  Another dealer quoted me $217 for the part and .5 hours for the labor $300 total.  Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on a accurate price.  I googled the part and it came up as $75.  I think I am getting hosed either way, looking for any info.

the first quote is correct list is 210 for part and 1.5 hours labor     the 74 bucks is for an aftermarket one I bet and I bet it wont work worth a crap.  Second the .5 labor would be for a cam sensor  not crank sensor.
U have basicly a mercedes benz car  U get to pay more for inported parts.

Just discovered same problem with our 04.  If I buy the sensor, where is it located and how difficult would it be to replace by myself?  From the sound of other model locations, I would think it to be fairly simple.  Anybody know?  Thanks.
