After reading a post about turning on the daytime running lights using starscan I took my 2007 4.0 Pac to the local dealer who said they would program it.  After three technitions worked on it they concluded it could not be done.

I went to my dealer in Canada and the service manager thought he could just change the country code as was done for other models that were brought from the states. He told me that he could not do it and has to get a software download from Chrysler.......I'll just wait to see

its not going to happen  I have run into this b4  where I had to take it to our traning center where they usual have factory scanners that can do all the cool stuff a normal scanner can not.

Then how are the DRL's handled? I'm interested in having them work on my 08 Pacifica. And I've added them to my 99 Sebring Convertible using Chrysler parts. So how would it be done?

got the word to drop my pacifica off in the morning for a software upgrade to get the DTL's turned on. Perhaps they got the fix is because this dealership is only a few miles from the plant where the pacificas are made. I'll give you folks the contact info once the job is done.

My DTL's are on, thanks to Provincial Chrysler in Windsor Ontario, all they had to do was get a software upgrade and poof, away we go 20 minutes later. The internet should get you Chrysler dealerships the contact and info you need to serve your customers. Happy motorin.

Congrats Jamie.  What is the contact.  Who would my South Dakota dealership contact at Chrysler for the software update?
