Whats this rumor about Ford buying the patent for the Hemi? What exactly does it mean, will they be using the exact same Chrysler Hemi, or design their own Hemi? And will Chrysler still use the Hemi? Is it even true?

Hey guys chrysler does not own the right to the HEMI just the name. The design has been used in all kinda cars over the years sence it was invented back in the 50s. Porsche ,Jags,Mitsubishi and even air planes.

Hemi referes to HEMIsperhical heads. Virtually every engine has a version of the hemi. They just made it so the spark plug or plugs are in the middle between the valves and that's what made them more efficient.
