Hello.

I'm new here.

My name is John and I'm not a mopar guy. I live in NJ and do know a bit about cars as I'm a mechanic at an independent shop. I tend to do a bit better with GM/Ford/Honda/Toyota.

I'm not a guru about anything in particular though, I just do general repairs on whatever happens to show up. My personal fleet is all GM right now. The only Chrysler product I've ever owned was a 73 Dart that was 5 years older than me which I sent to a junkyard because the starter died and I couldn't get a replacement same-day.

A 2004 Sebring has entered my extended fleet (I have to take care of it for family, but I don't own or drive it.) as it's hit it's first failure post-warranty. Unfortunately, it decided to break on a Friday night with what I see as an unusual problem, so here I am hoping to find help.

Where are you in NJ, I'm in Island Heights (by Toms River).
