How to remove Shift knob

How do you remove shift knob on a '06 300, trying to install a wood shift knob

u cant  its a whole shifer assembly

sorry i was wrong   if u dont see a little hole with a bolt or screw  then lift up hard on it

find a job that you can help people not make like the are a bunch of fools like you

Funny thing..I did the same thing as Pyron02 stated, and it worked VERY WELL for me, matter of fact, I've done it 
several times; changing out Shift Knobs...

It takes a bit of doing but you can actually just twist it Off. Get a firm grip, twist to the left. You might have to twist right and lift to loosen some adhesive but it will twist off.
