New for 2005, Chrysler’s luxury model sport utility vehicle is the Pacifica. The Pacifica is a four door, midsized SUV that includes three rows of seating, which is new for this model year. Front-row seating features a ten-direction power driver’s seat and a four-direction power passenger seat on Touring, Signature Series and Limited models, with an eight-direction power driver’s seat and a four-direction power passenger seat standard on FWD and AWD models. Heated first and second row seats are standard Limited and Signature Series, and are optional on Pacifica AWD, FWD and Touring. A collection of trimmed seating such as the standard Camden Avenue cloth, leather, and suede are also available for certain models.

Safety is also a key feature. Pacifica features multistage driver and front passenger airbags with an occupant classification system. Three-row supplemental airbags are standard on the Limited, Signature Series, and AWD and are available for Touring models. The Pacifica features a world-class heating and cooling system with dual-zone automatic temperature controls, standard on Touring and Limited. The finest technology is incorporated into the Pacifica with an optional industry first in-cluster navigation map display. Uconnect, Chrysler Group’s hands-free communication system, is compatible with any Blue Tooth Brand phone. This option takes voice commands and automatically adjusts for a suitable volume. This keeps the driver safe and not distracted.

Powering the Pacifica is a 3.5-liter or a 3.8-liter V6 engine. Autostick Transaxle System gives you the performance of a manual transmission with the ease of an automatic transmission. Capable of towing up to 3500 pounds with an optional hitch, the Chrysler Pacifica is a marvel. Government crash testing rates it “A Best Pick” for rollovers. Standard ABS brakes, tire-pressure monitoring systems and optional high-intensity-discharge headlamps that provide 3x the light output are more goodies for the Pacifica.

Any model in Chrysler’s Pacifica line is a well-balanced, safe, luxurious sport utility vehicle and is highly recommended by not only Chrysler, but with an MSRP starting at only $24,995, the owners will agree.
