Default ¿ Haynes Manual ?

I was wanted to know how you guys felt about the haynes book before I purchased one. Sometimes folks say it's not helpful for a particular car and prefer another mechanics book.

Most auto parts stores have those books in stock and some are already open....look through those and decide if it's helpful.....Chiltons is also another good manual.

Well worth the $20 investment if you plan to do anything on the car. I buy one for every car I purchase and refer to it often.

I buy one for all of my cars as well. I just wanted to know if folks thought a certain book was better than another before I bought the Haynes.

I've had both haynes and chilton manuals. They are both pretty good but typically provide generic information for sertain models. For the money you can beat a subscription to alldata. It's the same thing many mechanics use and show you the diagrams and such for YOUR actual car and model
