Hello Brothers_Jeep,

Is this long starting time after the Jeep sits for a while or anytime you try a start up?

Given that an engine only needs fuel and spark to start and stay running something to check would be fuel pressure at the rail after the auto sits for a while. If it is loosing pressure, how long does it take for the fuel system to pressurize.

When a fuel injection system is operating and the pressure is say, 40 to 50 lbs, when you shut the vehicle off the system will maintain pressure with some loss but will not drop to zero lbs. If after the vehicle sits you lose all pressure suspect a faulty fuel pump or fuel regulator not holding pressure.

Just a thought!

Sleepy.
