Default 1999 Concorde disc brakes

Replaced front disc pads...now pedal goes almost to the floor to stop the car. No leaks, fluid appears OK and never went below normal. Pumping the pedal does not raise it at all.

Sounds like a master cylinder, but has anyone heard of this? I've been repairing brakes for years and never heard of a master cylinder being damaged after pressing the caliper piston back into the housing.

Thanks for any help on this.

1.Removed two bolts
2.Lifted off caliper and removed old pads
3.Used C-clamp to press piston back into caliper...siphoned out extra fluid from master cylinder.
4. Installed new pads; mounted caliper and clips
5. Pumped brakes - OK after driver side; symptoms appeared after passenger side.

Pretty straight forward...hope you have some ideas on this.

That did it...not sure how I managed to get air into the system, but I'm good now. Anyway, thanks for your advice ...I certainly appreciate it.
