Default 300m Leaking Coolant Under Head?

Hello all!

New to this forum, just wanted to pick some brains. I recently purchased an '04 Chrysler 300m from a family friend. Supposedly something catastrophic happened and the head gasket blew, the timing belt snapped, head cracked, and valves bent. He had all of that replaced, along with the thermostat and spark plugs, but for whatever reason the car was overheating. Bad. Drive down the road a 1/4 mile and it'd spike the temp and boil coolant. He didn't want to deal with it, sold it to me for $300.

I noticed today that there's coolant leaking out from underneath the head on both sides, and the upper and lower radiator hoses were collapsed. I'll be replacing the hoses, but any idea what'd cause the head to leak? Lack of gasket sealer? Bad head bolts? Oil's fine, no coolant in it. Just curious as to where I should go from here.

It's the 3.5l V6, btw.

There is a heater tube connected to the Lower Intake Manifold that is sealed with an o'ring that is prone to leak.
Another issue is when refilling coolant system, bleeding the air out is critical. Bleeder valve located on the lower intake manifold.
Hope the head gasket job waqs done by a knowledgeable shop. There is a difference between right and left side and is not correctly installed, engine will overheat.

I bled it, still the same issue. I guess he got the gasket done by a friend of his, so it's probably reasonable enough to say that the gasket isn't installed right. Or other things for that matter. I'll get it looked at when I get my tax return.

Also, I saw the 300m forum. Almost joined, but I don't have the $15 to shell out right now haha

Thank you for your answer!
