Default 98 Concorde sometimes will not start

after stopping for a few minutes. It will spin, and spin, and spin, but will not catch. My mechanic told me to hold the throttle to the floor for a couple of minutes, release it, then try to start... it does seem to help a little. It tends to do it on a hot day, more than on a cool one.

Throwing no codes, that would be WAY too easy.

My suspicion is the air temp sensor. My mechanic suspects a problem in the fuel system. Any experience with this issue? Ideas?

Thanks. That sort of fits with what my mechanic has been suggesting. The problem is intermittent though, so that makes it difficult to figure out.
