after stopping for a few minutes. It will spin, and spin, and spin, but will not catch. My mechanic told me to hold the throttle to the floor for a couple of minutes, release it, then try to start... it does seem to help a little. It tends to do it on a hot day, more than on a cool one.
Throwing no codes, that would be WAY too easy.
My suspicion is the air temp sensor. My mechanic suspects a problem in the fuel system. Any experience with this issue? Ideas?

air temp sensor is not required to start the car up check for spark and fuel see which is not present to make it start up
