We just purchased a 1996 LHS and the previous owner said she had taken it to a local mechanic to repair the AC. He was unable to figure out the problem so he installed a jumper wire from the AC clutch relay to the neg terminal on the battery. He instructed her to leave the wire in place and the ac would run all the time. When she need heat she was to disconnect it.
If you look at the relay with the writing facing you, he installed the wire to the right side plug. I would have included pictures but I don't see a way to attach them.
