Chrysler LHS losing coolant
I need some help with my Chrysler LHS-1997, I had some problems with the car overheating , we replace the water pump, the cap, fan sensor, and a relay. The car isnt over heating now, but I am losing the coolant, with no visable signs. I have to put water in it everyday. The engine is a 3.5. Cananyone help mewith this problem?

RE: Chrysler LHS losing coolant
You can not see any coolant on the engine, or on the ground. It holds the coolant if the car is not on, its disappears only after you drive it. It did not leak before the new water pump, we just assumed it was the water pump when the car was overheating. Could it be a blown head? Maybe I am filling the reservoir to full?

if it was not leaking b4 hand and u replaced the water pump and u can see any leaking outside then yes u ahve a bad gasket. U can get a checker and see if the gas from the combustion chamber is leaking into teh coolant and u will know for sure that u have a head gasket leak. Or get a pressure tester and set the pressure to 18 lbs and see if it leaks or drops down.

Thank you for all of your help but we seemed to find the problem. The radiator is leaking where the aluminum and the plastic meet. There is a small crack. I was told by a few shops that it cant be repaired, that it just needs a new radiator. True?
