Default Help Me PLEASE

I have a 98 Chrysler Concorde LXi and it has a 3.2 motor in it that has about 70,000 miles on it as I swapped it from a 98 Intrepid cause the motor went bad about 5 months ago. Heres my problem.....about a month ago I got in the car and it started then shut off did this 3xs and then the 4th time it wouldnt do anything at all. So I took it to a Chrysler dealer and they said the BCM went bad and I spent 700 to replace it. Then they called and said the PCM was also bad.....so I asked how that could be when the car would always start and not stay running? Needless to say I sent it to another mechanic. They replaced the PCM and reprogrammed the PCM and BCM and flashed them both to the car and the remote for the security which came from the intrepid. I drove the car all day and at first the gauges acted funny for about a half hour then straightened themselves out.

By that night I got in and tried to start it and it would start then shut off again! But the 3rd time it started then stayed running, I then went to my moms shut it off and went inside for about 40 mins came out it started then shut off again! Did this 3xs then it did nothing as it had done before I replaced and reprogrammed everything! So I left the key in the forward position and an hour later came out and it started right up! But the next morning did the same thing again....would start 3xs and shut off then lock up the 4th time! Again I left the ignition on and came out an hour later and it starts and stays running! I am going crazy I cannot figure out what is wrong with this car! PLEASE HELP ME!:confus ed:

What you are experiencing is called SKREEM lockout.....

The most common issue would be the transponder in your ignition key. Try the spare key for a few days, If that rectifies the issue...replace the bad key.

If You wanted Dealership Service, You wouldnt Go To "Discount Quik Lube" , So why did you Walk into a dealership Expecting QUIK LUBE PRICING????

Ma'am, It costs so much money, because ...I CAN, And you CANNOT, And It matters Not to Me, Because I HAVE A RIDE HOME.
3/36 Does not mean 3 years and a day, or 36,001

Default Key switch?

My key is a grey key and does not have a chip in the actual key. Do I need to still switch keys?

Default Tried the key switch!

So I used my extra key that i had duplicated and it started right up! But then I shut it off and accidentally used the old key to start and it locked up again! So I put the new key in the on position and left it there for an hour and it did nothing didnt even start and die like before! So I put the old key in and left it in the on position to try to reset it. Should I use the new one after I get it started and leave the old one alone?
