p0303, and p0203
I know the codes, I started with the obvious, sprk plugs, they were worn to the point that the gap was about .100. I'm thinking this might be an easy one. so i replaced the plugs, and cleared the codes. Drove it about 30 miles when the engine light started flashing. Stopped and checked codes again, same 2 codes have returned. So as far as the 0303 code I am going to move the coils and see if the problem follows the coil. If so no problem. As far as the 0203 injector open or shorted, wiring looks good no obvious breaks, in the bmw motorcycle world first thing we do is check for voltage to the injector then a pressurized fuel system clean which most of the time solves the issue.
does this sound like i'm on the right track, has anyone experienced this

still there 0203 and 0303
quick over view, , while driving at interstate speed the engine began to shudder, check engine started flashing, codes were 0203 and 0303, replaced all spark plugs as they were severely worn, car ran great for 30 miles, codes returned. car will run smooth for awhile then shudder for awhile.
next step was a pressure cleaning of the fuel injectors, car ran good for about 10 miles, then again, next step was to move the coil to cylider 2 and see if the fault followed the coil, it did not. my next step is to do as Kevin suggested, I can fairly easily check for voltage and ground pulse to the number 3 cylinder, if that is good, the only thing left is the injector.
I'm waiting on the injector, because to get to it you have to remove the intake plenum. TWO questions.
1 has anyone experienced this problem?
2 is the plenum going to dish out any surprises when I remove it?
any suggestion?

solved
found 12 volts at the injector and the ground side was pulsing, removed the injector and tested the pintle with a momentary button, couldnt hear anything then the pintle strted moving then quit again, replaced the injector and cleared code, everything works fine, problem solved, thanks Kevin
