Default programming keyless remote

Hi evry1,
I just purchased a used keyless remote for my 00 Concorde LXi. I do not have one that is already programmed. Can anyone tell me how I can program the remote to my car? I don't want to pay the Chrysler dealership to do it if I can do it myself. Thanx

Go to Alldatadiy.com and purchase an on line manuel. In the manuel you look under "RKE" It will explain how to reprogram the remote (FOB). Its very simple all you need is a piece of wire. And get access to the wiring that controls the Traction on off switch.

Most remotes can be programmed manually at home without any tools or technical skills.

If you need to just order the instructions please check our website at

Best Regards

Hi, I have a similar question/problem.
I own a Chrysler (Eagle) Vision '94 and my remote had died.
Now i saw this on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KEY-R...#ht_1936wt_991
Is it possible to program this for my car?
I contacted the seller and he said it is not. But he draw that conclusion from the fact that the number on my remote doesn't match the one he has. I think that is because I have a original Dutch car. The numbers on my remote are: E4020185 and NL96030572 on the back of the remote. And 52849 on the chip itself.
What is your opinion? Could it work?

Thanks in advance,

Marko

Default keyless entry 1997 Concorde LX

I have a 1997 Concorde LX I bought used with no keyless remotes. I'm not sure if this car has this option. Is there a way I can tell if this car can use a wireless remote for the door locks and trunk?

The Steps:

1. Remove the middle vent bezel from the instrument panel.
2. Locate the 2x3 traction control black connector. The connector will either be connected to the switch or the back of the bezel housing.
3. Disconnect the connector.
4. Turn ignition switch to the ON position.
5. Ground (connect to the - pole of the battery) pin 4 (when you see it it will be clear) of the traction control connector. This is the programming line for the Remote Keyless Entry Module. The door locks will lock and unlock, to indicate the receiver is ready to receive transmitter code. The trunk solenoid will not cycle at this time.
6. Press any button on the transmitter to set code. The locks will cycle to confirm programming. If there is a second transmitter it must be set at this time. Press any button on the second transmitter and wait for the locks to cycle.
7. Disconnect the program line from ground. This returns the system to its normal operation mode.
8. Attach the traction control switch connector back to its original position:
Traction control switch
Back of the bezel housing.
9. Replace middle vent bezel, to the instrument panel.
10. If the vehicle has a traction control switch check for functionality once the bezel is in place.

Don't you have it on your manuals?Personally,i go to a dealer and let them do it for me.I mean for the assurance that it will be program the way it used to be.I'm sure they know more on how to do it.
