'07 Sebring Double Din DVD Player

I have an '07 sebring and i am wanting to get a 6.5 or 7" in dash dvd player. my question is if i get one with a hard drive can i just load a program kinda like google maps. i dont want to get one with gps as i dont need it and dont want to pay extra for somethin i dont need. i just need somethin that will give me a map within a few blocks. thanks for the help
