Default After market stereo no sound

Hi I have a voyager 2003 2.5crd..

Fitted a stereo which powers up fine but no sound.. looked for green wire(to earth the amp) mentioned before in other threads but no joy..

I think its a amp problem but cant locate the amp :-(

seem to be able to get iso adapters for non amplified easy enough but not as easy to find amplified ones..

need to be sure it is amplified is there a easy way of telling..

Anybody got any ideas...

Many thanks in advance

Well looked everywhere spent hours searching the internet no joy but fantastic headache

Looks like the nice new shiny headunit wont be going in after all and back to the standard head unit will be going back in

Tried different wiring combinations lol and looked for wiring diagrams but not seem to match the colurs on the harness in our voyager...

any hows wouldnt have thought putting a aftermarket head unit in could be stressfull so if you are thinking about it be warned very stressfull and not much help on the internet either

Had car in at a car audio specialist and they also cannot get it to work

They say the amp must be triggered by the head unit and best thing to do is to remove amp and speakers and rewire from scratch

surely there must be a easier way
