Default RBZ-RSC is sweet!

Just got my RBZ-RSC and while I was a bit worried that it appeared cheaper than the REN, it is not. The appearance issue is simply a poor choice of screening fonts for the buttons.

Simple changes like putting the Uconnect Buttons on the drivers side(duh!)
to more radical changes like a new face slide mechanism that is much simpler and far more sturdy than the twisting arms of the old Mygigs. Actuation of the new unit is done by sliding a tray straight out of the bottom with the top of the screen acting like the old units. Completely new case, boards, modules and layouts. Every thing down to the screen is new design.
I found my RBZ to play much more faithful reproductions than the REN ever did. There is a touch more kick and definitely less distortion.

Uconnect activates faster and you can shut the annoying lady up by repressing the button and starting over. also more accurate battery life display and a new signal strength meter that is dead on.

There are many other features and I have just begun to play with this radio.

Anyone using the "new" extra plug on the back? Is it for a disc changer or Backseat TV? Anyone?

Have 2010 T&C w-RBZ - HDD freezes system and shuts down. I have had system replaced twice by dealer with negative results. With the second unit, I was finally able to load music to HDD using the USB port, but when MEDIA is selected, the unit again freezes and will not playback my tunes. Had a third unit installed by dealer, but still have the same problem. Chrysler closed my case after the third replacement. Dealer since then has contacted Chrysler and reopened case, but no satisfaction from Chrysler to me as yet as far as getting a TOTALLY working sound system in my $30,000 plus T&C.
