Default Replacing 2004 Sebring deck or adding a sub

I was wondering if anyone has replaced their decks with an aftermarket one or has anyone tried to add a sub into the factory deck, if so how did it turn out since it is a bit larger than a regular deck. Also the deck in the sebring has a slight curve anyone have any problems with how it turned out. Anyone have any pictures they could post.

Thanks guys.

Default RE: Replacing 2004 Sebring deck or adding a sub

They have installation kits for changing out stock radios. It'll fill in the curve and allow the new radio to be flush mounted. They also have adapter kits for yourthe harness. You have to buy the installationharness kitthat plugs into the factory harness from the car. Then take the onethat comes with your new radio and color match them and use butt connectors tosplice them together. As far as adding a sub to the stock system... a little more work but it is doable. You'll have to get a line output converter to tap into one of your speaker outputs then it will convert the high impendance to a low impendance for better perofrmance. It will aslo give you RCA cables. To run the power cable through the firewall, on the driver's side where the speedo cable goes through, poke a hole through the grommet and run your cable that way. Get your ground at the mount of the rear seat backing. You will need to take your rear seat out to get the wire through there.
