Chrysler leaning toward selling Smart in U.S.

DaimlerChrysler is leaning toward launching its Smart car in the United States, CEO Dieter Zetsche said in an interview with Germanyâ€™s Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung this weekend. â€œAt the moment, the tendency is clearly positive,â€ he said. An announcement is expected later this month.
