Unhappy '06 Sebring 2.7 Codes P1603,P1604, P0613

So, my pretty little car seems to run perfectly but engine light is on. Began intermittently a few days after an oil change--now light is on all the time. Codes (key-pulled) P1603, P1604--Both PCM problems. Took to Autozone and they pulled P0613 (TCM). Forgive me (techs) for my stupidity--I listened and replaced TCM. Light is still on with key-pulled codes of P1603, P1604. Visually inspected all fuses and relays, wiring harness, and connections at PCM. Any ideas on where to go from here?

Go to eBay and look for a replacement PCM. There are services that will provide you with a reconditioned computer for about 200 bucks or so. You send them your VIN and mileage, they program the computer and send it to you with instructions for returning the old one.
My 2001 Sebring computer was returning an invalid checksum code. I used one of those services and the problem was cured. They were helpful and answered my installation questions over the phone.

Thanks, dcotter; I already located a pcm for it; I just want to be sure before I get into doing that!

I borrowed an actron and pulled codes today; all are "pending" codes--1604, 0613, 0700. Cleared codes, started up and engine light still on. Drove for a little while (not long enough to complete emissions tests) and p1604 is still coming up on key pull (all still "pending" on actron). Do you happen to know if--since these codes are pending--they might disappear after so many drive cycles?

Thanks again,

Deb

Doubt it. Those codes seem to indicate computer malfunctions. If the inderlying problem were gone, the code would be gone. These things don't fix themselves.

BTW, you do understand that your replacement computer must be programmed with the correct VIN and mileage, right?
