Default 2.7 Engine swap: Stratus to Sebring… is it direct swap?

I have 01 Sebring with 2.7 engine, and need to put in new engine due to engine failure.
Does anyone know if 2.7L engine from 04 Dodge stratus is direct swap? Also wondering if I can disconnect engine from trany and pull it our through the front (taking radiator and radiator support of)?

The engine are the same, but the 2001 as a active intake manifold. That is the only it shows with a active manifold. So if you use the motor switch the intake manifold on new motor. Also clean the intake out, there maybe pieces of the old motor in it.

Honestly dude, i would not recommend getting a 2.7L engine at all. I would try and upgrade to the 3.0L engine because the 2.7L ALWAYS has problems, I have the 3.0L and it runs perfectly fine

Sorry to revive an old thread, but does the 3.0L bolt up to the 2001 Sebring (2.7L) with the crossmember+mounts etc???
I know nothing about these motors, I'm a nissan kinda guy, so sorry for the ignorance.
Anyone have a writeup with pics etc... of everything I need.

I'm imagining this wont be a direct fit and will need custom motor mounts,
Tranny? I have no idea of the tranny if it will bolt up or what
Harness+ECU? Probably harness and ECU for the 3.0L ?
Anything else?

I'm looking for direct bolt on swap options. I don't mind doing a little bit of harness+ecu customization...but tranny and motor mounts... I really don't want to even touch with a 10 foot pole. [:'(]
