Default 2001 2.7L blown putting new 2007 Sebring 2.7 Engine

I really need some help here guys. Will a new 2007 Sebring 2.7 Engine Swap/ bolt right up in a 2001 Sebring, if not what needs to be done to make it work.

yes it will bolt right up but the other stuff will not work

u have not done any home work have U?
this is the point where alot of people just go into stuff with out finding out all the details to performing an engine swap
your 01 and 07 engine are run by different computers so everything electrical is different
that also goes for things like cam tone wheel and fly wheel.

Won't it work as a bare block, as long as you put the original intake, waterpump, etc. on it? You are taking the motor out anyways, if's not much harder to switch all of that stuff.

its the cam gear that is the main issue
