2003 Sebring AC wont kick in ?? please help
I Just bought an 03 Sebring with a head gasket, I got it fixed up and when I came to turn the AC it wont kick in at all. I charged it with one can of 134A and still nothing happens. I checked all the fuses and they are all fine. not sure which one is the AC. is there a relay ? what should I do. thanks in advance

I charged it with one can of 134A
I have personally seen 2 seperate instances, where guys that I worked side by side with for years, will never SEE their kids again.....
There are procedures to evacuate the system, there are proper procedures for charging, and there are "Capacity Specifications" to EVERY VEHICLE EVER PRODUCED WITH A/C.....
Dumping "Do it yourself and save" cans into your system is not worth blind and frostbitten.......

Can't imagine how someone could hook up a can of R134a to the pressure side of the system. The old R12 systems could be hooked up wrong with the potential for an exploding can, but the newer systems have totally incompatible taps on the pressure and suction sides.
That being said, the underside of the fuse panel covers (inside the car ind under the hood) have legends on them for the fuses within.
There are many possible things that could go wrong with an A/C system besides the level of refrigerant and the fuses. Check for a disconnected wire to the clutch, or failing that, seek professional help.
