Default 2009 Sebring Window Tint Too Light

Hi all. Just picked up the LAST 2009 Sebring Limited on the entire East Coast on Friday. The $4500 Chrysler rebate and $3500 clunker rebate was too good an offer to say no. The window sticker says ther eis tinted windows, as this is standard on all Limited models. But the windows are practically see through. Is this a scam? Did the dealer remove my tinted windows? Please help. Thanks a mil.

Roll a window half way down, you will see the tint. It's right in the glass, not stuck on like those cheap aftermarket films, and the dealer cannot remove it without changing all the glass.
Manufacturer's tinted windows must be legal in all states, so there is a limit as to how dark they can be. If it's not dark enough for you, you can always go the aftermarket film route. No extra charge for the bubbles and blotches.
