2011 200 Used Car Advice
Looking for a 2011 200 for our son. (A slightly strange choice for a 17 year old, but he's in love w/ the style. Works for me!)
Currently looking at 2 different ones.
Both are the V6.
One has 103k on it but has perfect service records. Driven entirely by an on-the-road salesman. It almost appears as if nobody was even in the other seats. Aside from the 103k, it's pristine.
The other has 67k, spent its first 18k as a rental car and then with another owner since then. I would say it's been treated well, but treated more like a traditional car.
Prices are similar... the one with 103k is actually listed about $600 more because it's top of the line trim, but I suspect the dealer will come down on it. The real question I'm asking is would you rather have a known perfectly cared for car with 103k or one with typical used car questions with 67k?
Thanks in advance!

Seems like it's a toss-up. The 103k model will have more wear on the engine and tires; the other will have more wear on the brakes and transmission if your description is correct. Brakes are relatively cheap to repair/replace; engine and transmission not so much. Trim level is a factor, as are options like heated seats, satellite radio, whatever.
I would tend to lean toward the lower mileage, but cars nowadays seem to be able to go a lot longer than they did years ago. I bought my convertible with 98k on it and it's been running well for me for the last 8 years although it only leaves the garage when the weather's nice.
