Default overheating

does anyone know witch direction the water flows thru the radiator on the 2.7 engine in the top and out the bottom or the other way

The usual way is top to bottom. Flowing this way keeps the maximum amount of water in the block if the coolant level gets low.

thanks that explains why the upper hose gets hot before the lower
