Default radio not working after performing engine work

Just got done replacing a water pump on a crysler sebring 2001 with a 2.7 dohc. Engine is all back together runs great. Problem is got in after that was done to pull it out of the shop and the radio doesnt come on, the little lights on treble just blink. Any idea what is wrong? did have the battery unhooked well working on it, not sure if crysler uses a code or not but i know the radio worked when it came in. OR is there someway to reset the radio? i cant believe the radio would have just died.

Check ALL of the connections under the hood, especially the PDC and fuses. You may have bumped something loose or shorted it out along the way.

In the fuse panel at the left end of the instrument panel you will find one strange looking fuse in the middle of the panel. It has "wings" on it. Those are there to make it easy to pull out. This fuse supplies power to the things that have to work without the key including the interior lights, electric door locks and radio (clock). Pull that fuse out forone minute with the key out of the car. This will kill all power to the radio and may reset its little brain, kind of like re-starting your computer. At least it will stop the blinking lights. If the radio doesn't reset and work properly after that "treatment" it may need to be replaced.
The fuse with the wings on it is sometimes called the IOD (ignition off draw) fuse. When they ship a new car, they slidethat fuse outso it won't run the battery down while in transit.
