Default Rear defrost and heat mirrors problem

2010 sebring convertible . The rear defroster and heated mirrors work intermittently - the light comes on always when pushed and goes off in 10 minutes or so . I looked at fuse under hood and it looks fine . The two tabs on window are secure . Is there a relay component that may be bad ? Where ? What else could be reason ? Thanks

Check your owners manual. That's the way it's supposed to work.

I may not have been clear in my description . By intermittently working I meant it works sometimes fine then sometimes it does not work at all - I realize it turns off after 10 minutes of heating - the problem is it does not heat mirrors or window sometimes - I found what may be problem - I pushed the top up button to tighten top and it allowed rear defrost to heat . I understand that if top down it deactivates rear defrost operation - maybe a top up or top down sensor is not registering correctly - or it may be a coincidence .
