Transmission solenoid pack?

Transmission solenoid pack?
I did a search before I posted, but I couldn't find a thread specifically about this topic. Long story short, I need a car that is going to be reliable transportation for my wife to get too and from work every day. She likes convertibles, so the Sebring is on my list. I'm looking at one now. It's a 2001 with the 2.7L and around 50,000 miles. I'm told that it needs a few normal things for state inspection, such as tires. The only thing that reallyconcerned me is that the trans solenoid pack is seeping a little. I've tried doing research on the internet and am finding somewhat limited information. Is this an "achillies heel" for the this transmission? Does it lead to other problems? Also, what part number is it? Seems prices are all over the map, and I want to try to find the right part at the best price.

RE: Transmission solenoid pack?
the SOL pack like to leak quite often around the inspection plate. AS so long as the leak is not real bad most people dont even know its leaking. As for who installes the new one U might get some hard shift once the new one is installed and it is learned to the car then it will be fine. It will be fine.
