Default trunk latch

The trunk latch on my wife's 2009 Chrysler Sebring convertible 4 cylinder broke yesterday. I've been trying to find the correct replacement part, however the OEM replacement parts websites have terrible pictures and I don't want to order the wrong part. The number on the latch says 1018 9653AA, however I've had no luck searching for that number either. Could someone point me in the right direction as to what the replacement parts number is, or where/what to order.

Since you don't want to waste time or money ordering the wrong part, take the broken part to the parts counter at your local dealership and tell them you need a replacement. You don't need a part number; they can look it up. The chances of saving any money (after shipping) by ordering on line are not great so you might as well just go to the dealer and get it right. It'll be worth the effort.
Bring the piece with you when you go to pick up the new part (assuming they don't have it in stock) and compare what they come up with to what you have.

Too bad about Suh and Fairley. :-(
