I'm thinking crank sensor..but I'm not sure.

a few things......
Watch the tachometer while cranking..It should Bounce. This will verify that PCM has recieved an RPM signal.
Second.....Next time it doesnt start......unplug the
CAM sensor and try to start it. if it starts with cam sensor unplugged...replace the cam sensor.
With a 12 volt test lamp, clip on (-) battery. disconnect a convenient Ignition coil. Probe the green wire. Turn the key on, without cranking the car. The lamp should light for 2 seconds and go out. Now crank the car, the lamp should light while cranking. If these checks are ok...Its time to look into fuel Pressure.
