2005 300C turn signal issue

There is a fairly loud clicking noise when turning the wheel whether the turn signal is activated or not. Turn signal works and disengages after turn completed, but click noise does not stop if wheel is turn passed a certain point, and when wheel returns back to straight position. Is turn signal on its last leg? How to repair? Thanks
