Default 3.5l crank compatability

does anyone know if a crank from a 2003 300m 3.5 will work in a 2006 300 3.5 i have heard that internally all aluminum block 3.5's are the same..thank for your help

thanks.... is there any way to tell the differance by looking at them...the crank in question is from a 2003 300m but the center counter weight is not the same as it is on my 2006 crank... everything else looks the same. i have tried to order a crank from advance auto and autozone but a 2006 is not available when i go back in years the first year available is the 2003... thanks again for your help
