Default 3.5L Oil Consumption

I have a 2009 Touring model with the 3.5L engine and was wondering what other owners are noticing as far as oil consumption. I drive mainly highway since it is a company vehicle, and change the oil roughly every 4k miles. I currently have 14k miles but notice it is using about 3/4 Qt of oil in between changes. I had a 2.7L Sebring before this 300 and never used any oil. I mentioned it to my dealer and he told me it was common with the 3.5L engines to burn oil like this. What are fellow owners noticing?
