Default 300m headlight plastic clip

YES. I can read directions. BUT I cannot remove the plastic clip that is fastened to the right passenger quarter panel to gain access to the head light!! I cannot get a flat head tool under the plastic pin because of the tight fit. All of the other clips are off except that one. I have pulled and prodded and gotten mad and now I am just giving up.
Help, please.
