Default EGR Valve on 2006 Chrysler

I was just quoted 366 for new EGR Valve. I have the 80k certified warranty. I cannot believe this is not covered. Anyone know anything about this?

Default EGR Valve

I would not pay that price my boyfriend and I own our own mechanic shop and 9 times out of ten the egr valve just needs to be taken off and cleaned its just dirty then disconnect battery for about 10 to 15 minutes and that will reset computer and should be fine. If not then you might need a new one but they are expensive but never heard of them being that expensive I just got one for a 2003 300m and only paid 89.99
