Replace the "clockspring". The steering wheel will have to come off to make this repair.

I think that Your car had been needed to replace some part like clockspring. Otherwise you will have also recharge the battery , I am sure that After the horn would be play very terrible sound. I hope that It could be more helpful for it.

Changing the clock spring [lives behind steering wheel] cured the same problem on my Grand Voyager. Cruise control not working, horn not working and an airbag light on. Not a difficult job. I even found a video on youtube on how to do it. Top result.

Default Horn goes off - clock spring Sebring

My 2006 Sebring horn would go of intermitently for no reason. I called chryler USA and they said it was not covered under warrenty, then I called Canada Chrysler and they said it was covered in 3 year warrenty. The dealer changed the entire air bag module in steering wheel, (instead of clock spring, which would have cost a few bucks). Total cost $900 canadain in Ontario at dealer. The car was less then 3 years old then.

So far 87000 km and replaced feul pump other than that OK.

Make sure you use the recommeded engine oil to avoid gunk up. Mechanics tend to use 5w20 because that is what they have in stock, not recommed.
