Default what are you guys getting for gas milage?

Hello all,
Im in the market for a car and really like the 300s. I been looking for a few days now and was wondering what kinda gas milage are you all getting with either the 3.5 or the 5.7 under normal driving conditions in the city and on the highway? I never trust the dealer sticker on that rating.
One last thing, is there anything i should be on the look out for or any known problems that either motor is known for.
Thanks

Default

I had a 2005 Chrysler 300C with the 5.7 liter HEMI and I aboslutely loved the car. The gas mileage I recieved on the highway was between 22mpg and 25mpg (depending on oil changes and preventative maintenece up keeping) and around 16mpg in the city. On the highway it shuts off half of its cylinders when traveling for longer distances. I also used to abuse the cruise control and resent my cars digital mpg every time I was on the highway longer than 20 miles to maximize the amount i was getting per tank. In loving the care i came across one issue regarding maintenence. In doing some reading on the cars the control arms have a tendancy of going rather quickly. On my car they were replaced by original owner at 22k miles and then i had to do so at 60k miles. There are also 3 control arms per wheel in the front tunring it into a $$$ fix. Other than that a truly awesome ride. Good Luck.
