2007 Chrysler Aspen Stalling Issue
Hey everyone,
The other day I went to go fill up my tank. Drove away, stopped at an intersection and the car just died in the lane. At first would not start, gave it a couple seconds, started again and drove away. Happened a couple of other times that day. This usually happened when braking and turning, or just braking at a red light. If anyone can help that would be great.
Thanks.

Were any trouble codes set or did you notice any malfunction indicator lamps on?

I've seen this problem posted before, and it was corrected with a new battery. Have your battery tested and replace if necessary.
If any codes show up, let us know and that'll help with troubleshooting.
Here's a thread with similar symptoms that was addressed through battery replacement: https://www.chryslerforum.com/forum/...ng-stop-21821/

Not only has this happened, but on Christmas eve we drove it to church ran fine, after service tried to start it would not start. Had it towed to a dealership, had it recharged but battery was still, weak. Replaced it with mopar battery and there is some sort of liquid on top of the battery that I'm not sure about.

redfox69,
Get your Aspen over to the Chrysler dealer, find out what codes were set.
Hopefully it's something simple and easy to fix.

When my alternator recently decided to comp out on me, the truck stalled and all of the dash lamps illuminated like a Christmas tree. A friend came by and charged my battery, it started and died again. Replacing a battery without replacing an alternator, will not solve the problem, you will just be wasting time and money. Have it volt tested.
