In the U.S. the muffler is covered under the 3 year or 36K mile basic warranty. The catalytic converter is covered for 8 yrs. or 80K miles in the U.S. I'm not sure about Canadian warranties. I would suggest contacting Chrysler Canada for that info as they "technically" are a separate company with their own warranties.

Thanks CC, I bought the truck that was well maintained, clean as new. Very happy !

The owner mentionned that sometimes the engine light comes on and the dealer mentionned that it's a pressure leak from the gaz tank. It can come from anywhere in the lines.... Beside checking the gaz cap, is there a weak place that I should look. Owner told me to disconnect battery to clear the engine light. ( good or not ? )

Mine was doing this recently as well. Make sure that you clean the filler neck where it meets the gas cap. Mine did not look all that bad but I cleaned it up really well and have not had that issue since.
