Default 2008 Aspen

Back in September I posted about my wife getting rear ended at 60 mph by someone texting and driving. Well 9 months later we finally got another Aspen but this one is better than the first one. My wife got a Sebring and we love it but she never got over her Aspen. My Volvo was starting to mess up so we decided to get another Aspen. We now have 2008 with the hemi, nav, sunroof, and other stuff. My question now is how do I work the Nav? I have read the owners manuel and the multimedia manuel and it never really says how to do it. I figure it came with CD's and the dealer took them out to make some side money on Ebay or something. My unit does not have the Nav button like I have seen on some of the other ones. It does have the Ipod hookup and the USB jack.

I think I may have figured out what my Nav issue is. After doing some more research they apparently make some 6.5 inch touch screen cd/radios also without Nav so they could add the backup camera. I thought all big tv type radios all had Nav. Goes to show you learn something new all the time.

Yep, you figured it out. You still have a lot of nice features, but no nav.

Nav is a Nice feature....There are ways around this.....If you want a Nav Radio...

Mopar accessories has the NAv Kit..(Ibelieve it is an REN) That bolts in and add the antenna....And the radios get exchanged....

Now ...Having said that..... 2010, and 2011, Chrysler Uses GARMIN software for their Nav units.. But the earlier stuff was Absolutely atrocious.....

Buy a GPS that you like...hang it off the mirror and call it a day......Its alot cheaper, and much more reliable than what was used in the factory units.

If You wanted Dealership Service, You wouldnt Go To "Discount Quik Lube" , So why did you Walk into a dealership Expecting QUIK LUBE PRICING????

Thanks for the info. My wife bought me a Tom Tom a few years ago, it is not perfect but it gets me close enough to where I need to go and I can figure out the rest.
