Hi. Yesterday, I had my tires switched over to winter tires (on the same rims) at the dealer. I've used the same tires the last two winters with no issues. On the way home I heard an occasional banging noise coming from the wheels. I heard it a couple times from both front and rear wheels. My wife heard the same thing today. The sound is similar to running over something and having it hit the undercarriage. Wheels are balanced fine. What could they have possibly done wrong? Would improper torquing do this, and if so, how/why? Would any damage be done at this point? I'll be phoning Monday morning, but I'd like to have a idea of what's going on.
Thanks for any help!

The noise only occurs every couple of miles. The best description I can think of is a loud crack or bang coming from one of the wheels. The noise seems to randomly alternate between any of the wheels. Thanks again for any help.
