Default Clicking Noise

I have an 08 Aspen with the Hemi and 4x4. I noticed a couple of weeks ago while at a drive thru a clicking noise coming from the driver side front area. I can not hear it with the windows up only down. It does it at low speeds and clicks throughout the turn. Last week when I went to my mechanic to have the oil changed I had him look for it. The ball joints are good, shocks, fluids, and brakes. Everything looked new under the truck. It does not handle odd or brake wierd or anything that I can tell from driving other than making a noise with the window down. Does anyone know what this could be?

Does it click when you turn both directions as well as a straight line? How many miles and what year?

Yes it clicks in both directions, and stops when I straighten the steering wheel up. It is an 08 with 73k on it.

Does it click once per tire revelution? It could be a stone wedged in the tire groove.

I checked the tires and they are all free of rocks. It sounds a little louder than a rock would sound, but not loud enough when the windows are up.
