Default Electric Mirrors?

Do our Aspens have electric folding mirrors available as an option?
I have to fold my mirrors to fit into my garage and it is a PITA. I would love to mod at least my passenger side mirror to an electric variety if it were available.

Anyone know?

Paul

The new Durango has this feature on the Crew trim, but I'm 99.99% sure the parts won't be compatible.

You need the "bigger garage" mod.

With Coffee and donuts in hand...go to the chrysler dealership and ask the parts guy to look up your year ASPEN in "EXPORT" form....The EURO cars are typically equipped this way, so when you park the car, the mirrors dont stick out into oncoming traffic. They can be automatic , when you lock the doors, or may be retracted manually , with a button on the adjuster "PAD"...

Problem is cost effectiveness, and Installation , since the vehicle was not already "Set-up" for it. You may also need the TIPM reprogrammed to allow The integration of the new system into the vehicle.....

Now...having said that.....I agree with 15951..get a Bigger garage...cause this project is going to turn into more than you want to Chew....

If You wanted Dealership Service, You wouldnt Go To "Discount Quik Lube" , So why did you Walk into a dealership Expecting QUIK LUBE PRICING????

Ya Know it sounds Nuts.....But my next door neighbor did it for years without a problem....

A two by Four Tacked vertically along the edge of the garage door Jam with a paper towel dispenser screwed to it at the same height as the mirrors....And gently roll into the garage....It will bump the mirrors in as you go past them... and It doesnt scratch the paint....

That is a good idea, but it won't fly in my neighborhood. I do believe the Homeowners' Association would have something to day about that. Still, It would work nicely if my garage were in the back, not close to the street. Thanks for thinking.
